About the Author:

Picture
Danna J. Gordon  and her husband, Frank, have lived on their ten acres of wooded land in rural Zionsville, Indiana for over forty-three years. Their home (designed  and built by them) is where they raised their three sons and a  daughter.  They have twenty-one grandchildren, two of whom are  married  with homes of their own.  Starting out as a child, struggling through hardships and often perilous situations, the author took the bend in  the road to a better destiny.  It has been an interesting journey!

“When I finally  trusted myself to look to my left, I saw Daddy on his knees looking at me. I froze! I knew I was going to ‘get it.’ I’m not sure just how much time did  pass, but it seemed like an eternity.  With my chin propped on my knees  and my little heart pounding, I waited.  I  just sat there waiting for  disaster to strike.”
