About the Author:
Roy Dixon (Dick) Green began his writing career as the producer, director and writer of the Air Force television series "Eyes to the Sky," produced in Germany in 1957-1958. He was also editor of the award-winning magazine Taconeer. Mr. Green is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and after a
distinguished career in the Air Force, retired in 1970. Mr. Green now makes his home in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is associated with Draughons College. Charles Y. Green, Jr., (collaborative author) attended George Washington University. He was a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and the Senior staff schools of the Department of Defense. He joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1949. Mr. Green served as a senior intelligence duty officer to the Director and from 1962 to 1974 was the senior CIA representative to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense. He was awarded the Intelligence Medal for "Exceptional Achievement" upon his retirement in 1974.
